MED-FIT SYSTEMS, INC., MANUFACTURER OF NAUTILUS COMMERCIAL FITNESS EQUIPMENT, FORMS STRATEGIC CAPITAL PARTNERSHIP

May 18, 2011, Independence, VAMed-Fit Systems, Inc., manufacturer of Nautilus® commercial products, announced today that they have partnered with First Nations Capital Partners, a southern California investment fund.

  “The partnership with FNCP will facilitate our aggressive growth plans and allow us to fully utilize our Virginia manufacturing facilities,” said Dean Sbragia, CEO of Med-Fit Systems, Inc. Our goal is to regain the leadership position once held by Nautilus® equipment by providing innovative, patented products and programming designed to enhance our rehabilitation, long-term care, and fitness customers’ business.”

During the past year, Med-Fit Systems has systematically been bringing back Nautilus® branded commercial products from China and Taiwan to manufacture in Virginia.

“Owning the factory, tooling and machinery gives us a real competitive edge, since we have design, engineering, prototype, manufacturing, quality control and logistics all under one roof, stated Sbragia. Partnering with FNCP will allow us to take full advantage of our plant and create job opportunities in the local economy.”

Med-Fit Systems, Inc. is a twenty-three year old physical therapy and senior care products provider located in Southern California.  On February 19, 2010, the company purchased the assets of the commercial fitness equipment division from Nautilus, Inc.
