They get to reap the benefits of their hard work on their facilities with all the redecated members and the influx of New Year’s resolutions. They put their blood sweat and tears into their brick and mortar facilities all year for these next couple of months. Most facilities will do about 35 – 40% of their memberships for the year in the first quarter. After that it, gym owners/ managers will market, program, rebrand, and refinance, to continue their momentum through the end of the year; then it starts all over again. It’s interesting, why the foundation of a 300 billion dollar industry struggles while the add on companies thrive?</p>
